It's been a while!!

Well I hate to say it but once again I have been slacking on my posts. Emmalyn had her 6 months shots and she is now 17 lbs 12 oz and is 27 1/2 inches long. She is in the 90th percentile for her weight and 97th for her height. She is obviously going to be tall like her dad. She sits unassisted now all the time and likes to play with her 'toy box', it is a little canvas box that we got for all her little toys so they aren't scattered all over the living room. She is also pulling herself up on things and scoots around on her hands and knees, it's not quite crawling but her own version of it. It's really kind of funny cause she always goes after the dog. He really isn't very happy to share his floor with her. Emmalyn is also waving now and she tries to play patty cake but doesn't quite understand that it takes both hands. She just uses her right one and pats it on her tummy. She is also eating baby food now and loves her veggies, as for fruits she only really enjoys the applesauce.

The rest of the house is finally getting unpacked and we can now say that the living room, Emmalyn's room, and the guest room are finished. The others are at least mostly done. We have been learning about our yard and all the flowers that keep blooming. I went and bought a book so I could figure out what we had and what would be good to plant in the empty areas. All together though we really like having our own place. Odin really likes having a big yard too.

Well I did manage to get a couple of pics of Emmalyn's 6 months. So I will leave you with those. I hope it won't be this long again before I can get on here.
These are some of the early blooming flowers at our new house

More pics! What a cutiepie. She looks like she's enjoying the new house and will be ready to dig up all the new flowers in a couple of weeks. Enjoy!
